Default Want more character slots? :)

If you do, sign this:

My friend made that. If we get enough signatures then maybe something will happen, I dunno. But come on, we can't wait for the expansion to come out. Seriously.

my friend there is not need for more slots. they intended it this way.

you can have 3 PvE characters with all professions and 1 PvP character that you can remake as many times as you want.

there is ablolutely no reason to have any more slots.

You can have 1 character PvE character and unlock everything with it. Hell, you don't even need PvE chars, you can just have PvP chars and unlock everything with them. I don't see any reason to be more than 1 slot.

lol well at least A-net gives you the chance to go through the game with all 6 professions and have a slot left for a pvp character.

4 is the perfect amount ablolutely no reason for more

I want one character slot for each primary + 1 for a PvP slot.
It's stupid to expect people to delete a character just to make a new one.
There are no good reasons to limit it to 4. The one that always gets thrown out is that it forces people to consider their character more carefully before commiting to it. That's a load of ____. If that's the case then make attribute point assignments perminent. That will just make people more carefull when assigning attribute points.

Agree with you a pvp slot with one for each main job would be so nice.

The only problem (?) I could see with more slots is that you now have that much additional storage. As a result, you'll find people "muling" with a slot or two.

Although, with the release and ease in finding quality items now this should be moot.

for what reason? the only thing you need to delete is your PvP character. your other 3 can have all 6 professions. nothing is lost.

you should delete yoru PvP character anyway since i am sure you do not run the same build all the time.

or are you saying you should have unlimited PvP slots???

Personally it would be nice to have 7 slots, 6 for PvE/PvP and 1 for permanent PvP. I'd only use 5 though really.

I do delete my PvP character. What I am saying is that I want to PvE with a primary of each profession. Yes my current 3 PvE characters use all 6 professions and I will be able to unlock everything. But if I want to play a primary of the three classes that are currently secondary I will have to delete a character.

To anyone who says you can have all 6 professions in 3 slots: You can have all 6 professions in 1 slot. You can only have 1 primary per slot however, and each primary plays differently. If you don't know that by now you're an idiot.

Also I don't understand people that argue against having more slots. It's not like having more slots will hurt you in any way. All you're trying to do is grief PvE players who want to have fun.

I like it the way it is. Honestly, who has time to play more than 4 characters? I sure don't.

My thoughts exactly. I dont have a PvP-dedicated character, nor do I have a Me/ or a R/ primary and I'd like to try both as primaries. Not about to delete a PvE character I have now in order to do that. Would I then use all 8 slots? Dont know. Certainly 2 of them.

Is it really that much server space to expand the slots? Granted whatever the space is, expanding the slots then doubles that space effectively since I am sure, given 4 more slots, most people would at least make storage characters.

Meh. Maybe I wont wait and I'll just get a second account. Anet can take my money and make a better full expansion sooner and, frankly, I wouldnt complain with what we have. ^^ Should they read this and show us pity, more slots would be nice-ness. Maybe then I'd make a PvP character and actually go PvP. ^_~

Online petitions are highly respected and successful!

Yes, more slots are needed. If you play a lot of PvP, the time wasted deleting and recreating certain characters adds up. As does the gold cost, if you haven't unlocked the required runes. As it stands, I delete at least one character per day. With double the amount of slots, I'd probably have room for my one PvP character and all my favourite builds. It'd be nice, really. Hats off to the people screaming "WTF NO MORE SLOTS, NOBODY IS ALLOWED NICE THINGS".

Some of the posts gave me a headache, so I skimmed through. Before somebody suggests getting another account, or in case someone has already suggested it but nobody's given them a righteous hindspanking, the unlocking system wants to say hello.

ummm i think we all know that primaries play differently than secondaries, so i am opretty sure your patronizing is not wanted nor needed here.

that being said it goes deeper than just slots. you then will have issues with storage etc.

there are reasons there is only 4 slots plus a storage account.

Personally I wouldn't mind paying a little extra money to get another 3-4 character slots on the account.
